Moving to OKC from Houston

Postby Spar10Mar10 » Wed Nov 09, 2011 12:06 am

Hello,

My wife and I are moving to OKC a few days before new years and she is selling her old car so that we only take one car up here. I am considering getting a scooter for my transportation to and from work and she will use my truck. I like scooters and want one primarily because it is a cheap cheap cheap form of transportation.

Do you think it is a good idea to have a scooter in OKC for the winter time? ...Of course I will use the truck if the weather is too bad. Is it possible to roll with a scooter during that time of the year?

Any advise will be much appreciated, thanks.

If it snows here, you will not be able to ride. Some years might be 10 work days, some years might be 30.

All I had for a couple years was a scoot and I ride it everyday. Like Jim said you never know with the weather, but as long as you can bundle up you are good. Well, minus ice on the road.
