If you haven't figured out by now, we're going with a game show theme and so we have good stuff lined up that play long those lines.
Here's the schedule outline for TR'A VII:
Friday, May 25th
In the afternoon we'll be hosting the "Meet and Greet" at Scooter World in Overland Park; registration, meet up with friends, swap stories and old parts.
If you check in at registration during this time, there will be an opportunity to win raffle tickets and other prizes.
Later there will be dinner followed by the evening/night rides including classic favorites; Back Alley Ride and In-Town
Followed by a post ride night cap with games.
Saturday, May 26th
Later breakfast... around 9. We're working out the deal for breakfast, but would like to get Chris Cakes back again. So we'll let you know as soon as we hammer those details out.
After the breakfast wheel get's rolling, we'll do gymkhana. So stuff your pie hole and then do some reckless obstacles.
Following those festivites we'll line up for our rides. We are planning on 3 rides:
Ride A) will be a really long #%$@ing ride. 55mph minimum top speed, this ride will consume almost the entire day and won't return until after dinner. This is one to make sure your scooter is in check and that your AAA membership is current (just in case).
Ride B) will be a slower ride, open to all scoots and will be back for the dinner break.
Ride C) will be an intermediate ride. 45mph minimum top speed, this ride will have a bit of distance, with a stop out at the Legends and will be back for the dinner break.
As in year's past, we'll do our best to try to score a lunch deal.
After the rides we'll take a break. Dinner will be on your own, but we'll do our best to secure a deal or at least make some recommendations.
Post break, we'll meet back up for some evening shenanigans. TBD
Afterward, a night cap, of course.
Sunday, May 27th
Sleep in, secure your scoots and check out for those traveling. Then meet back up at Scooter World for our awards, raffle and cookout brunch.
Inside look: we have a unique way to win the grand prize through the raffle.
Earlier afternoon, it'll be time to go. You all get to say good-bye, we get to stay and clean up.
Registration
Look for early registration to be setup, via Paypal, in early February. Of course you can register in person the day of, however, we'll bribe you with giving you free raffle tickets in your R'Alley pack and a chance to win a prize available only to those who pre-register.
What can we say? We like it when you pre-reg. It let's us know who the hell is coming.
And did we mention that $5 of every registration fee will go to charity?
The final price of registration will be posted soon, but should be on par with previous rallies. And of course we are working to get you as much stuff included in the price as we have in the past. We'll post what's included soon too.
Raffle tickets
Of course we'll have raffle tickets for sale at $1 each. Of course a deal, such as 25 for $20. The thing this year is that you don't have to pay with cash. You can if you want to. We welcome it. But if you don't feel like carrying cash with you, you can now pay via credit card, on site, live in person.
That's right. We're so god damn high tech.
50/50
Like winning $$$? We'll be featuring our 50/50 raffle. 50% of the ticket sales go to a local charity while the other 50% goes to the winner. This one will have to be cash only though, since we give it right to the winner.
In Conclusion...
That's the outline right now. Of course it can change as we work out the details, but it gives you an idea of what you have to look forward to. Stay tuned.
